HARMILL SYSTEMS COMPLETES MAJOR PROJECT IN TAIWAN

Harmill Systems has recently completed the commissioning of 8 electrically powered rail mounted vehicles for the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation.

These vehicles which incorporate state of the art control with regenerative braking, enable the operator to inspect the underframe of the 300 metre long train within the 15 minute time frame allowed.
The project included the installation of more than five and a half kilometres of pit rail.

HARMILL SYSTEMS WINS PRESTIGE AWARD FOR INNOVATION

Harmill Systems has won the Alstom Award for innovation in safety at the Railway Industry Innovation Awards held at the Institution of Civil Engineers in June.
The unique underframe inspection and maintenance equipment was chosen by the judges who were impressed by the improvement in working conditions for train maintainers using the system.
